Blarney and District Historical Society reached another excellent objective with the launch of ‘Old Blarney’- In Focus Photo-journal on Wednesday 17th May 2017 at 8.00 p.m. in the Blarney Castle Hotel.

Mr. Padraig Sheehan (L) Principal of Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal, being presented with copies of the latest Blarney and District Historical Society publication, ‘Old Blarney’ Journal Issue 12, for the school library by Society Chairperson, Mr. Sean Horgan.

Secretary of the Blarney and District Historical Society, Agnes Hickey, stands beside the Christmas Tree which was allocated to the Society for decorating for the Christmas Tree Festival held in the Church of the Resurrection, Blarney on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December 2016.

The Blarney and District Historical Society latest publication, ‘Old Blarney’ Journal Issue 13 was launched at Blarney Castle Hotel on 13th July 2022. The event was very generously sponsored by Ian and Una Forrest proprietors of the hotel.
